Hello strangers! It seems I was forced to take a break from blogging as my internet messed up. But we are sorted now, (thankfully) and I thought I'd get back into the swing of things with my first empties post!
Simple Soothing Facial Toner - I quite liked this product when I needed to refresh my skin; However I felt it actually didn't do much for my skin apart from keeping it refreshed. It sunk in quickly and didn't lie on the skin or form any kind of film. I have really sensitive skin and it didn't sting or leave any red patches which is a big thumbs up for me with a drugstore product.
Simple replenishing rich moisturizer - I love this moisturizer especially mixed with primer as a base for make-up. Again, it feels light on the skin and a little bit of product can actually moisturize your whole face. It dries in nice and quickly and leaves no residue
Simple moisturizing facial wash - I wasn't a massive fan of this product from the smell right down to the texture and how it left my skin feeling. It did do a good job of really cleaning my skin, but it was left being tight and red. It almost stung my skin, which is a definite no for me.
Toni&Guy Cleanse Shampoo for dry hair - This is my all time favourite shampoo; it isn't too expensive for what it actually does to your hair. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth and really clean. I get lots of compliments on how healthy my hair looks when I use this. Definitely will be repurchasing it as soon as I hit boots!
Tresemme heat defence styling spray - I use so much heat on my hair from drying to straightening so it's essential I have a good heat protection spray and this is one of the better ones I've tried. It leaves my hair looking really healthy after straightening rather than brittle or dry.
Ted Baker fraganced body spray - I thought I'd include these, even though they have been discontinued. I actually was in shock when I went to repurchase them and told they were no longer available; I adore these sprays. Everything from the smell to how they feel on my skin. It has a floriental smell; with bright fresh notes on a wood and amber base. It has to be one of my favourite smells ever and I definitely can't see the logic in them being replaced. The current ted baker sprays don't smell half as nice!
Beauty Formulas Nail Polish Remover - Thought I'd just include this as a more side-note. Definitely won't be repurchasing; it's a cheap nail polish remover that doesn't do much apart from dye the colour into your skin. I think you should spend a little bit more and get a good nail polish remover that does the job.
What did you think of my first empties post and the products I've used up?
