On of the key trends for this S/S is Monochrome, which I'm massively happy about as I love black and white; I think it always looks timeless and elegant but can be made edgy or pretty. It's one of the most versatile trends and can be mixed up. This trend is also great as you can bring pieces from last season (like the pleated leather skirt, the velvet leather skirt, black peplum tops etc...) into spring/summer.
leggings - asos £18 // River Island peplum top - £18
Glamorous crop top - £10.99 // Next £12
Lavish Alice top - £23 // Topshop shirt £38
Motel body £25 // River Island bag £40
Motel trousers £48 // Topshop crop top £26
You can either wear this trend with one statement piece such as the motel trousers, with a black peplum top or you can keep it simple and chic with black and white pieces, not patterned. I love this trend, especially for it's versatility and look forward to more monochrome pieces hitting shops soon!
Do you like monochrome or do you prefer more colour? What do you think of my picks?
